Mission 3 – Capture the Train (Optional)

Objective: Capture the Train and destroy the NOD base.

Opening Credit Balance: $0

To do this successfully, you first need to take out the NOD power plants. The safest course of action is to get your troops and engineers from the lower SE corner to WNW edge of the map. Do not go into the NW corner yet. You should be across the river from the NOD base. Once there, reinforcements should arrive in the form of two Titans. Advance these two units to the river’s edge and target them on the two power plants. They should destroy both power plants from this location. Once this has been accomplished and the lasers are out, you should then proceed east to the bridge. You may encounter NOD troops, but they can be swiftly dealt with. Once you enter the base, start work on destroying it, but make sure you get at least one of your engineers to board the train. You may use your other engineers to capture the NOD structures but this will not really gain you anything. You have no funds to purchase any toys with during this mission.
